Roller Coat UV

GLC offers the New Zealand printing industry its state-of-the-art UV Roller Coating on the Swiss-manufactured Steineman UV Roller Coat machine, installed in 2005, which produces high quality results that more than meet international standards.

Roller coating is a process using a 100% liquid coating of approximately 3gsm which is applied on top of a printed surface and cured under a UV lamp. The process is particularly suited to magazine covers and packaging because of its smooth, high sheen gloss finish. Our clients are consistently thrilled with the results we produce on the Steineman, which turns out the same high quality result on every single sheet meaning there is very little wastage.
